Global and net radiation validation
The graphs below show the Energy Balance Monitoring System radiation validation
results for Zhengzhou (China), as carried out in the scope of the CEWBMS
project. In graph 1, overcast days are left out in order to reduce the scatter
in the graph and make it easier to interpret. In graph 2 and 3, distinction is
made between clear and cloudy days. The uncertainty of the ground measurements
(obtained from meteorological stations) is estimated less than 5% for the global
radiation and 20% for net radiation.
